The annual VFW Golf Tournament is set for July 26-27 at John Pitman Municipal Golf Course in Hereford.  The tournament will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hereford’s positive youth development programs.

First National Bank is sponsoring a “Closest to the Pin” Contest. A total of  $300 in Hereford Bucks will be given to two  winners.  There will be a morning and evening contest winner.

The entry fee is $120 per player and includes a cart and green fees for two days, prizes, range balls, mulligans, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and refreshments during play as well as a 5-course dinner on Saturday, July 26 at the VFW.  The format is a 2-person scramble with shotgun starts as follows:  Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  Player evaluation will follow the dinner.  Awards presentation will be at the VFW following play on Sunday.
